Boston, MA—February 24, 2006 CounterSnipe Technologies today announced that its flagship product APD4000, the first enterprise Threat Management System that combines Intrusion Detection/Prevention and Asset scanning into one device, is a finalist for the prestigious SC Magazine Reader Trust Awards both in the category of Best Intrusion Detection Systems and Best Intrusion Prevention Systems.
APD4000 with the inclusion of SAK (Surrounding Asset Knowledge) offers far better Threat Management System than any traditional IDS/IPS available on the market.
